You know that time when your in Boots and it's 3 for 2 so you do an impulse buy without checking reviews first? Well this purchase was one of those. I usually like Revlon lipsticks so when I saw this new Colorstay lippie I thought why not? Well disappointed isn't the word. While this is a pretty colour, the texture and finish of the lipstick feels horrible. It feels so drying and while you an expect an aspect of dryness in a long lasting lipstick, this didn't even last an hour on my lips an that's with several coats! The colour payoff is rubbish and it feels sticky after 5 minutes. Definitely wouldn't recommend this one I'm afraid Revlon. Thumbs down.

Back to Blogging.
So this is my second go at writing a blog. As I have an iPhone now I figured it would be easier for me to upload photos and blog on the move. I lost motivation when I tried to do it on my laptop along with the rather busy aspect of becoming a mummy to my now 1 year old little boy Alfie. My beauty routine has changed a lot since then! I rarely get a chance to do my nails now and I've learned to put makeup on at a rapid speed but I still have an obsessive love for all things cosmetics. It feels even more special now when I get the chance to put on my St Moritz and a pair of eylure falsies for a rare night out. I buy so much makeup I get jokes about my big tool kit AKA my makeup case. I thought I might as well help other people in my quest to find the best products by reviewing the good the bad and the ugly ones out there. I also love fashion and will be blogging about my favourite bargains now and again. I also love taking photos so I might post some other stuff too. Thanks for reading and enjoy!
Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint review
I'm probably a bit late in reviewing these but I'm so impressed with them that I'm going to anyway. Barry M nail paints never really impressed me before until these arrived. The original ones always seemed to chip fast and it took me at least 3 coats to get a decent colour pay off. These however have a thicker, longer lasting formula and the colours are gorgeous. I have 3 shades so far. Greenberry is a lovely mint green colour and looks fab with a tan. Dragon is a Barbie pink colour, really girly and pretty. My fave however is Papaya. I'd never worn a coral polish before and now I'm hooked, it's so bright and summery it makes me crave the sunshine. These don't even need a topcoat either! The best bit is they're only £3.99. Cheap and cheerful. I don't have swatches because my cuticles are not in great nick (in dire need of a manicure) but I'm sure you've seen them all on other blogs anyway, just thought I'd recommend these as I'm such a fan. x
